GTA 6 Trailer 2 Is Being Roasted by Frustrated Fans

Grand Theft Auto fans deserve a medal for their patience. Not only have they been waiting over a decade for GTA 6, but now they’re also enduring what feels like an eternal wait for a second trailer.

When Rockstar Games dropped the first GTA 6 reveal trailer on December 5, 2023, it broke the internet. Fans picked apart every detail, analyzed every frame, and speculated endlessly about what the game would bring. But now, in 2025, we’re still sitting here with nothing no second trailer, no new screenshots, no gameplay teases. Just silence.

Where Is Trailer 2?

Rockstar has assured fans that GTA 6 is still set for release in Fall 2025, but you wouldn’t know it based on the lack of marketing. While other major titles tend to ramp up their promotional efforts as they near launch, Rockstar has remained frustratingly tight-lipped. Even Take-Two Interactive’s recent earnings call failed to deliver any meaningful updates.

So, what are fans supposed to do? Sit around and wait for Summer Game Fest? The next earnings call in May? A random Tuesday drop? No one knows, and that’s exactly what’s driving fans crazy.

Fans Are Roasting Rockstar’s Silence

The wait for GTA 6 has become a meme in itself, but now the focus has shifted to the mysterious second trailer. Social media is flooded with jokes about how long fans have been waiting, with some saying they’ll be in a nursing home before they see new footage.

One Reddit user, ConferenceSea5477, joked about the wait using an aged-up image of Lucia, GTA 6’s protagonist. Another, Official-HiredFun9, quipped, We’ll all be looking like Michael before the second trailer is released.

Others are less amused and more frustrated. PuzzleheadedMight125 put it bluntly: It’s f**king annoying at this point. Another user, coca cola drinker, pointed out how absurd it is that we still have no official news over a year after the first trailer.

Is Rockstar Playing It Too Safe?

Rockstar’s marketing strategy has always been unconventional. The GTA 5 hype cycle was a slow burn, and they’ve traditionally let their games speak for themselves. But in today’s gaming landscape where players are used to frequent updates, deep dives, and gameplay reveals this level of radio silence feels almost out of touch.

Sure, GTA 6 is guaranteed to be a massive success regardless, but Rockstar’s reluctance to engage with the fanbase is starting to test people’s patience. And with competitors like Cyberpunk 2077 and Red Dead Redemption 2 setting new standards for transparency, Rockstar risks coming off as overly secretive.

When Will We See More?

At this point, your guess is as good as anyone’s. The most likely bet is a Summer 2025 showcase leading into the Fall release, but until Rockstar breaks their silence, fans are left waiting and roasting.

For now, all we can do is rewatch the first trailer for the hundredth time and hope Rockstar finally throws us a bone.
