This incident occurred while she was still at her infamous Mucky Mansion, heightening her concerns and prompting immediate action. Days later, as she attended one of her latest shows, she was accompanied by a new security team, ensuring her safety remained a top priority.
The 46-year-old former glamour model and media personality is currently touring the UK with her podcast, The Katie Price Show, which she co-hosts with her younger sister, Sophie. Over the past month, Pricey has been performing in various locations, with her most recent appearance in Bristol.
In pictures published by The Sun, security guards were seen diligently scanning the car park at St George’s Bristol. Katie, dressed casually in a white crop top and jogging bottoms, was closely watched by her new minders as she exited the venue and stepped into a waiting vehicle on Tuesday, May 28. This heightened security measure follows a distressing event where her Range Rover was targeted with acid.
Katie opened up about the harrowing incident on her podcast, explaining the series of unfortunate events that have plagued her Mucky Mansion. “So, my house is in the middle of nowhere, and I’ve had nothing but bad luck in that house. It doesn’t matter what it is, it’s bad luck. I can’t wait to get out of it, like I’ve said on this show,” she shared.
The acid attack was particularly alarming, with Katie describing the damage and the fear it instilled. “Now, what’s really scary is, a few months ago, people vandalised my gates, saying you f***g whore, you sg, and all of that. I’ve had lots of incidents, and now my car was parked by my front door and there’s other cars parked there. Someone has thrown acid all over my pink Range Rover,” she recounted.
“So I thought, ‘acid is serious,’ and for someone to actually go and buy that quantity, to then think they can go a hundred metres up my driveway in the middle of nowhere and pour that on my car when we’re all in bed asleep and I didn’t hear anything.”
Determined to address the situation, Katie contacted the police, who strongly advised her to vacate the property. Complying with their advice, she decided to leave her Horsham, West Sussex home, which she had lived in since 2014. After being declared bankrupt for a second time in March 2024, the acid attack was the final straw, prompting her to move out a day earlier than planned on May 29.
Katie broke the news to her fans via social media, posting a picture of her Mucky Mansion with the caption: “Due to (an) acid attack on my car at my house, I’ve now been advised by authorities not to stay at Mucky Mansion anymore.”
Despite her financial difficulties, Katie has found a new place to call home with her partner, JJ Slater from Married At First Sight. According to OK! Magazine, she will be paying a substantial £4,995 per month in rent for her new residence, highlighting her commitment to ensuring a safer environment for herself and her family.
